Garment Care

~ Hand Wash Only ~

  1. Fill a sink with cool water

  • Optional: Add organic wool wash

  1. Submerge the garment in solution and begin gently washing

  • NOTE: Do not rub or scrub as this will cause pilling and surface wear

  1. Gently press and swirl the garment around for about 5 minutes

  2. Drain the water and gently rinse with cool water

~ Drying ~

  1. Gently press excess water from the garment

  • NOTE: Do not wring as it will stretch and warp the fibres

  1. Place it flat on a towel, roll it up and press down to further remove water

  2. Lay it flat to dry on a clothing rack or a dry towel on the floor in a well-ventilated area, easing it back into its shape

  • NOTE: Do not hang to prevent stretching and keep away from heat as this can shrink and damage it

~ Storage ~

  1. Fold the garment neatly and store it in a drawer

  • NOTE: Do not hang the garment as this will cause stretching

  • Optional: You can place the folded garment in a garment bag as well

~ Sun Tip ~

The sun can help kill surface germs and bacteria so when your garment is not too soiled for a wash, turn the garment inside out and lay it flat in the sun on a rack or towel for about 30 minutes
